Bok choy is a variety of Chinese white cabbage. Full of good nutrients, the stall adds a nice texture to your plate.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1½ tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 medium garlic clove
- 400g (6 to 8 cups) bok choy
- ½ teaspoon dark sesame oil
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Mince the garlic clove.

Roughly trim the bok choy.
Directions

Bring broth, butter and garlic to a simmer in a large, deep skillet.

Add the bok choy, covers the skillet with a lid and let it simmer until tender. (about 5 minutes).

Transfer the bok choy to a serving dish and cover it to keep it warm.

Boil the broth until reduced to ¼ cup.

Stir it with sesame oil and red pepper flakes.

Pour the mixture over the bok choy.
It is easy to make it too spicy with red pepper flakes. Try adding it a little less if you're not a fan of spicy food.
