Garlic confit
Garlic confit is a 2 in 1 recipe. You get a delightful spread and seasoned olive oil.

Ingredients

  • Garlic cloves (as many as you want).

  • Olive oil (enough to cover your garlic cloves).

Mise en place

  1. Peel the garlic cloves

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 °F / 190 °C.

  2. Fill up a small baking dish with your peeled garlic.

  3. Fill the baking dish with olive oil until it covers the garlic cloves.

  4. Cover it with a sheet of tin foil and bring it into the oven for 45 minutes.

Let it cook until the garlic is fork tender.

  1. Let it cool completely before separating the garlic from the olive oil.
Save the garlic olive oil for any type of dressing.
