Oven stuffed tomatoes
This is one of those silly, simple recipes to make when you want to try something fun.

Ingredients

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200g ground beef
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Mise en place

  1. Cut the top of the tomatoes and remove the interior with a spoon.

You can use the core of the tomatoes in your recipe if you want.

  1. Thinly dice the onion

  2. Mince the garlic

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 °F / 190 °C.

  2. Into a skillet, cook the onions and garlic with a drizzle olive oil over medium heat until the onion gets translucent.

  3. Add the ground beef with a pinch of salt and pepper and just partially cook cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Until most of the ground beef is nice and brown.

  4. Put your tomatoes on a baking tray and carefully stuff them with the ground beef, addind the parmesan cheese on top.

Try not to fill all the way up to the top.
  1. Cook for about 30 to 40 minutes.
